Did someone say “CANDY”?!?!?

Shhhhh…I’m not really here, though you are. I’m really in Kalamazoo, recovering from eating turkey and avoiding going shopping (except the scrapbook store…think I’ll head there!) But since I’m away having retail therapy, I just wanted you to have the opportunity to think fondly of me while I’m gone. So I’m gonna offer you some BLOG CANDY!!! WoooHOOOO!
Ooops…that’s not BLOG candy, that’s EYE candy!
Nope, not that kinda candy either!
What’s this? Why it’s a brand spanky new set by Hanna Stamps called "Things Hanna Would Say"! Kristi asked if I wanted to do a bit of blog candy, with the lucky winner getting a free set of "Things Hanna Would Say" and I said, "LOVE TO!"
So to win this yummo blog candy, I’d like you to leave a comment (only one!) and tell me which of these "Things Hanna Would Say" is the one saying you would use the most. Comments must be made by 12 M Pacific Time (3 AM ET). The winner will be chosen by a random number generator sometime on Saturday. I’ll post to the blog and hook you up with Kristi so you can get your set. So leave a comment, just ONE comment, mind you, and may the force be with you!

Hi Jan I can’t believe I am the first person to comment ๐ That never happens to me ๐ Well I think the saying I most use is Thank You-I find myself saying this alot to people. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving! Sara
What a cute set! I think I would “Reach for the Stars” the most.
Hiya Jan! Love your blog! The saying I would use the most would probably be ‘Shop till you Drop’! or BFF! They would go great with Hanna’s ‘But I Need It set’! Can you tell, my girlfriends and I LOVE to shop!? I can also see ‘Puddles of Love’ and ‘Dancing in the Rain’ seeing alot of ink, once my Rain, Rain set arrives!
you rock! becouse hanna rocks
i would probably use the happy birthday because i make a ton of birthday cards.
thanks!
regina
I love and would you all the time “Have a tail wagging good day!!”
Diane
Thanks for the blog candy!
Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving. I love the eye candy and the blog candy! I think I would use “Hello” the most as that is the starting point for just about everything, don’t you think? Then I could stamp whatever was needed on the inside of the card. Love your blog Jan – you are most entertaining and very crafty…in a good way – LOL!
Hi. Thanks for offering up this blog candy. I think the one that I would use the most is “Just what I have always wanted” because everything I see is “Just what I have always wanted”!!! ๐
I would probably use Happy Birthday the most ๐
Well, I SHOULD use “Thank You” the most, because it seems that I’m always in need of a card to show grattitude for something, but I think the one I WOULD use is “Dancing in the Rain”. It just fits my personality and happens to be one of my all-time favorite activities. ๐ Thanks for the opportunity, Jan! Keep us giggling and inspired (and in awe) with your fantastic blog!
Yipee! Hope your enjoying your Thanksgiving long weekend!
I would probably use: Happy Birthday alot!
Hi Jan!
Love your blog! You’re an awesome inspiration & stamper!
My favourite saying would be “Hello”! My son walks around shouting Hello all day long!
Thanks!
L
๐
I would probably end up using “keep your head up” the most. I like to give cards to friends and coworkers who are having a difficult time — even it it’s simple and minimal like just having a bad day. It’s amazing how a little card can really pick up people’s spirits. Thanks for the chance to win!
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving, Jan. I love this set. It is hard to choose one! ๐ “Hey Girlfriend” is probably the one that would get the most use. Although, they are all great!
I’d use Thanks a bunch most.
I’m a lurker to your blog and LOVE IT!! Such great inspiration. I hope you are having a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend.
Oooh good question! I think I would use Have fun on your day the most. It can be used for many occasions. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
I’d use “you rock” the most. God has blessed me with so many friends that rock! Hope your Thanksgiving was a blessed one:)
Hi Jan,
Can’t wait everyday to read your blog!
I know that the most used stamp for me in the bunch
would be “Thank You”. There are alot of things if life that we have to thank our friends and family for. Also THANK YOU for a great blog!
Ok I have to say I would use BFF most. Everyone around me has a BFF. Even the dog. Go figure. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving Janine. Give the kids a big hug for me. See you on Sunday. Oh and thanks for the Eye Candy..he is just Dandy. ๐
I hate to say this but “Charge” would be it. I am not a spendaholic but I never, ever have cash anymore! Plus I collect air miles with the card so why not? Cheers!
Happy Birthday would be my most used. My favorite though, is “you rock”. Happy Shopping to you today! You are a brave soul.
I would probably use the Happy Birthday sentiment the most but I just love the Hey, Girlfriend sentiment the best. I just love your blog. I am so glad that I found it. Have a great weekend.
Lots of great phrases to choose from! I have to go with Hey Sunshine – love that!
Thanks for the opportunity!
Nicole
I really like the “I Pick You” stamp. I think I could use that a LOT!!! Thanks for the chance to win some wonderful candy….are you sure it won’t be accompanied by George?? Oh well! Thanks Jan!! Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Hey Jan! Love your blog…visit it daily… and your insane sense of humor!! It’s right up my alley! I think I would use “Hey girlfriend” the most, although they are all great. I can’t wait to get my “But I need it” set … it’s on it’s way!! Thanx for all you do!
I think that “Happy Birthday”, and “Thank You” are the most versatile, but with the first set that was released, I think “Charge” would be very well loved ๐
I would hafta pick “You rock!” although my kids think I should not use slang. LOL I’m sure they’re right. I remember thinking my mom was weird when she did! How did I turn into my mom?
Amy
Hey Sunshine! As soon as I read that one I had ideas floating around in my head. I have a wonderful sunshine punch that would be perfect to go with it!
I’d either pick “I’m melting” because so many of the people I know are in that stage of life ๐ or “I pick you” because that would be such fun to make a card with. Couldn’t pick just one, kind of like potato chips. Thanks for the chance to win!
Hey Jan~
Happy Thanksgiving! I think I’d use “Hey Sunshine” the most, ‘cuz it’s something I say all the time! Have a fabulous long weekend!
Love,
~Cindy
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving and a safe trip home. I think I really covet the You Rock stamp. There are so many times that someone needs just a little boost. Thanks for all the great goorrrrguuuus things you post. You are a true inspiration. Barb
I would choose, “I pick you” because I have so many flowers and I think it goes so well with the sentiment and giving cards to friends.
Thanks for sharing such a great blog!!!
My favorite is “Have a tail wagging day.” My husband and I are both veterinarians, so we have lots of animal stuff around our house!
I’d probably use Happy Birthday the most but I would want to use…your my favorite…I just have a hard time with that phrase ‘cuz I don’t want someone’s feelings hurt! I’m such a wimp, huh? LOL!
I’d probably use “Have fun on your day” the most. Thanks for the chance!
since we’re talking stamps
“I’m with you!”
LOL! awesome candy!
These are just adorable! But the one I’d use most would probably be “You Rock” because I say that all the time!
Thanks for the great candy offer. (And if you can manage to throw in George, I’ll pay the extra postage!)
Great candy! I think I would use the You Rock!
Hope you’re enjoying the holiday! The way things have been going, I guess the sentiment I’d use most is “shop ’till you drop.” I’m good at that!
I can see me using 2 of them in tandem : )
On the card front, “Have fun on your day”, and for the inside, “Happy Birthday”. Thanks Jan, don’t spend too much (hahaha), & get some rest!
Hope you enjoyed your holiday! I think I’d probably use the “hey girlfriend” one the most. But I’m sure I’d get a lot of use out of “You rock” and “Happy Birthday” too.
Okay just one comment but I must say it is a tie between two sayings – You Rock! and “You’re my favorite” Happy Thanksgiving!
Hey, Jan! Hope you had a great time with your retail therapy, and thanks so much for offering us some terrific blog candy. I think I would use the “Shop til you Drop” the most. I send out a lot of Birthday cards, and this one would go well with a lot of my friend’s personalities.
There are a lot of this set floating out in cyberspace……..It would be lovely set to have.
I think I would likely use “Have fun on your day”
Well, my favorite word ‘Fabulous’ is not a choice, so I’d have to go with ‘Happy Birthday’ as my most used. I love making birthday cards for people.
Have a great Thanksgiving weekend!
As long as I can lick my screen , this is still blog candy. George is yum.
Since I just got a new dog (who is not settling in as well as planned -a book in the making maybe?) I think the dog related ones might work.
Well, I am venturing into Flint today-not to shop but to go to the gym. and maybe stop at the Farmer’s Market for lunch.
I’m gonna have to say the dancing in the rain…. it matches the new hanna so well.
Bwaaa haa haa! Love the “I’m melting!” one.
I think I would use “This too shall pass” the most. I like to send encouraging notes to friends and I have nothing similar to that stamp.
What a great set, though! Lots of variety!
I am not sure what is better the blog candy or the eye candy if you don’t mind I would like to have both!!!!! LOL just kidding but he sure is pretty!!!!
I’m going to say “Surprise’. We recently had a surprise bday party for my dad, and I taught my son to yell ‘surprise’ and not tell my dad about the party.
My 2nd fave would be ‘Just what I have always wanted’…I want to use this phrase on scrapbook pages about my husband and children.
LOVE it! “You’re my favorite” would be used on many cards to my husband ๐
Thanks for sharing your talent with all of us!
I would use the “thanks a bunch” saying the most! Thanks for the chance to win!
I think Happy Birthday would get used the most. Although Shop ’til you drop describes me perfectly. The whole set is wonderful.
By the way I LOVE your blog. You are so talented.
Michelle T
Hi Jan. I think there are a few sentiments that I would use together quite often. “Hey girlfriend” would be a great start with “Keep your head up” and “This too shall pass”! I hope you had a great time shopping.
My favorite comment would have to be “And this too shall pass”…since I have been known to say that alot at the office! ๐ Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!
Love the sayings! I would probably use Thanks a bunch and You rock! If I had the set I know I would use all of them. Thanks for a chance at this sweet giveaway.
cmeyers@hughes.net
What a great giveaway … The sentiments are all wonderful, I think I would use “you’re my favorite” more than others.
Thanks for the chance to win.
Hmmm… my fav phrase would be ‘You lead and I’ll follow’ because in Swing dancing or any partner dance, that phrase works
Hi Jan! I hope you are well on the way to post-Thanksgiving recovery. (Try some chocolate, I’m sure it will help!).
As to the sentiment I would use most often, that’s tough to say. Im sure “Hello” and “Thank you” will get plenty of use. But, I think I would reach most often for “Reach for the stars” because it’s a great sentiment of encouragement and support, which I love to offer!
Well I have to say the majority of cards I make are birthday cards. so the ‘happy birthday” stamp would probably get used the most! Thanks for the opportunity!!!
Happy Thanksgiving! I think I would use the “I pick you” stamp the most. If I’m making you a card, I’ve already picked you! I hope you pick me to win this great set!!
Definitely “Shop till you drop!” Thanks for the chance at this great set!
I don’t know if I can pick just one! There are some really cute sayings. I think my favorite is “Have a tail wagging day!” Can’t wait to see the new sets from these clues in the sentiments!
I would have to use a combination of “I’m Melting” and “For You” the most!
these stamps (and the other hanna stamps) look fabulous and i can not wait to go get some!
I would use Happy Birthday the most. Love your blog!
Have a great day!
I would probably use “Happy Birthday” the most, but “Thank You” would be right up there. There is always a need for thank you cards. Love your blog and thanks for the eye candy as well.
OHHH this is so sweet of you!hmmm let see what I would you I think You Rock… I would use that for Cards for my kids to make lil cards for my kids.. It makes their day and it makes my day to make them smile ๐
I could really use those sentiments!! They are so awesome!! My birthday is on Saturday, Nov. 24, this would make a great gift!!
Thanks!
“You Rock!” That’s the saying I would use most. I picked that saying up from my teenagers.
Thanks for inspiration and blog candy Jan – YOU ROCK!
Jan, while I know I should say ‘Thank You’ or ‘Happy Birthday’ are those I’d use the most, I’m finding myself drawn to the ‘This too shall pass’.. several friends are going through some trying times and this would be perfect…its unique, its different.
You Rock! by the way!!
Great Blog Candy – I love reading your blog every day, thanks for sharing your incredible creations with us! My favorite saying from this set is “You Rock!”
I would have to say “YOU ROCK!” would be my most used saying because all stampers “ROCK” with creativity! Doreen
Fabulous set, the wordings are such I won’t have to look elsewhere..thanks for the candy..
The most could be used sentiment would be “Surprise”
Hands down my phrase is “This too shall pass” – it was the one thing my Mom said a hundred thousand times that still brings me comfort. I love it!
Thanks for the chance at some cool blog candy!!!
Happy day after Thanksgiving! I just love the ‘Hey Sunshine’ stamp. That’s definitely my favorite. Have fun, but hurry home. We need to get together soon.
I’ll play! What a nice blend of traditional and non-traditional sayings… I think “I pick you” might be my favorite — it’s not one I’ve seen before! Thanks, and Happy Thanksgiving!
I really like the FOR YOU…how versatile is that???? OF course, it is also quite bland…necessary but bland. SO, I would have to say that my favorite is HAVE A TAIL WAGGING DAY! I see many sayings with the word “leash” and “lead” and “wag” in them. It makes me think one thing – THERE’S A SET COMING WITH ANIMALS!!!! YAY! Anyway, thanks for sharing!
Cool blog candy! Thanks for offering it up. I think I’d most likely use “You rock!” the most. It sounds like something I would say, plus it is pretty versatile.
It would be ‘This to shall pass.’ There are always things that come, freak us out, then pass and all is well in the world again. Until the next time…
LOVE your blog..usually gives me by daily chuckle.
Shannon
I’d like both candies :)))
Blog candy, eye candy….I’ll take either..hahaha!! Well, I have a 15 year old daughter who loves to shop so I would probably use the Shop til you Drop and Charge ones a lot, along with the BFF one for when I make b-day cards for her friends!! But I really like the Dancin’ in the Rain one….that one’s perfect!!
“Shop til you drop” sounds like the one for me. I know lots of ladies this would be perfect for (the sentiment and George actually).
I’m so excited about this set! Hope you have fun shopping.
pick me, pick me!
~Kendra
Well, I’d probably use the ‘Happy Birthday’ the most but can easily see myself finding some great uses for all the other fun sayings too! Thanks Jan,
Ruth A.

I would use almost all of them at one time or another, but my favorite is–Reach for the Stars–
Cute set. I think I would use the “Hey Sunshine” sentiment the most.
my ONE comment is that I love Frank Zappa also. I have a picture of me giving him my underwear! I was a lady, really, however — I went to the bathroom to disrobe. Some of the other gals had not…. Thanks for THAT memory from many moon units ago ๐ Peace be with you this holiday season! Lela aka Serenity (serenity_stamper@hotmail.com)
My favorite is “You’re my favorite”! I use that phrase all the time as in, “You’re my favorite Jan!” (Well. . . . you really are!) ;D
I’d use Make A Wish most I think. Great blog.
Claudia scfranson@charter.net
I would probably use have fun on your day. I love all of these. Thanks for sharing with us!
The one I would use most would be “have fun on your day” since that tends to be my standard birthday greeting!
However, dd would drool over and continually use “dancing in the rain” ‘cos she’s a dancer!
You crack me up! Love to read your blog. My most commonly used phrase would be “thanks a bunch”, because I am surround by wonderful people who are always doing nice things for me. My mom taught me that a thank you card must follow immedaitely.
Oh, what a GREAT SET! I love the “charge”, and Hey Sunshine…it’s a toss-up! I can see me using ALL of them, how fun is THAT??!!
Glad you are out getting retail therapy, what a great holiday thing to do! Be careful, and come back soon! ๐

Thanks to Krista for giving this lovely set up to you to put up as Blog candy!

I would probably use the “Reach for the Stars” quite a bit. They are all great sentiments, so picking one is pretty hard! I just love my Hanna Stamps so I know I will use ALL of these sentiments!
If I’m not to late to be a part of the drawing I would probably use Reach for the stars…I like that one.
Love your blog!
Sharon King

I love the set and your blog! I’m always using “Thank You Bunches”!
“Hey, girlfriend” is a great stamp!! I think I’d use that one lots…Thanks for the inspiration.
I believe I would use “You rock” the most as my husband who died suddenly several months ago was a rock to our family and friends. I have had so much support from family and friends who have been a “rock” to me.
I have some really comical stamps that “This too shall pass” would be hilarious with, so that’s my choice. Thanks for the fun!
I think I would use the “Hey, girlfriend” stamp the most. I don’t have one like that and send cards to my girlfriends a lot! Thank you for the chance!
how does one pick just one?….okay happy birthday! woohoo love blog candy
I Hanna would use the “Happy Birthday” verbage the most or at least I would!:) Hope everyone had a great Black Friday with lots of great shopping deals. We should have a blog entry where everyone tells what their biggest bargain was that they bought on Black friday. That would be very interesting. Just a thought!
It’s a toss up between “Sow the Seeds of Love” and “You’re my Favorite”. (but what REALLY got my attention was the eye candy – just LOOOVE George Clooney!!!!)
What a nice set!!! i would mostly Thanks a bunch!! I seem to say that alot!!
Thanks a bunch at a wonderful chance to win!
