Stampin Up! A Round Array – Another Card from Interactive Cards 2
I thought I'd show you another card from Interactive Cards 2. This one uses a template I got from a website called "Stamp O Mania", sadly now gone, by my friend Kathy Berger. She had a ton of fun templates available on her site, of which this is just one. For the book Interactive Cards 2, I asked her if it was okay to use it, especially if I could get her name mentioned, and she said yes because she is super nice! Unfortunately, they spelled her name wrong, but at least they put it in there this time. The cylinder card that I made for the previous book was also one of Kathy's designs, and they did not put her name in (although I did ask them to).
ANYWAY, I did a card like this WAY back when Unfroggetable was around, and then for some reason I never made another one (until now!) Lookie:
Ingredients: Stamps – A Round Array, Bring on the Cake; Paper – Birthday Basics Designer Series Paper, Bermuda Bay, Whisper White, Raspberry Ripple, Summer Starfruit, Pool Party; Ink –Basic Black, Raspberry Ripple; Markers – Pool Party, Crisp Cantaloupe, Raspberry Ripple, Summer Starfruit, Bermuda Bay, Basic Black, Signo White Gel Pen; Punches – 7/8” Scallop Circle, 1” Circle, 5/8” circle punch (EK Success); Other – Raspberry Ripple Stitched Satin ribbon, Whisper White baker’s twine, dimensionals, sponge wedge.
SUPRISE! GOJUS! (YILM!) This is a fun design, and I have to say I trashed a lot of cardstock getting this just right, especially as our black ink takes a long time to dry, so I smeared this more than once and had to start over.
This uses the set A Round Array, which is one of those sets that is very useful for making little tags and whatnot. It's also a set I don't see very many people using, so I thought I would throw a little love out there for this set! You can buy it and any of the schtuff I used to make this card in in my webstore. And you can buy this card in my Etsy shop!
