Hero Arts You’re So Lovely
This beautiful set is part of the latest release from Hero Arts. I love the look of the roses, and I knew when I got the set one of the first things I wanted to try was burnishing. If you don't know what burnishing is, I have a video here that can definitely show you how.
GOJUS! (YILM!) In addition to the sponge daubers, I also used Ranger Mini Round Ink Blending sponges to do the larger areas.
These red inks are all the ones I got with the October 2015 kit from Hero Arts.
I used some older ribbon from SU! that I think was a Sale-A-Bration freebie…I love that you can curl it with a pair of scissors. The accents are Doodlebug Designs Beetle Black Glittler Sprinkles.
I used a Hero Arts ombre pad for the leaves…I love the glow this card has. It's been a while since I broke out any sponging on my cards, so I kind of did nothing but on this one! And doodling on the edge, haven't done that in a while either…my older techniques are busting out all over!
Below is my list of products that I used (at least those that are still available), and I have used affiliate links where they are available, as I now participate in affiliate programs for Simon Says Stamp, Amazon, Ellen Hutson LLC, Scrapbook.com, and Blick Art Supplies. Buying through these links helps support my blog and my artistic endeavors, and I thank you. Stampin' Up! product links lead to their webstore, so please be sure to indicate your preference in demonstrator if it doesn't come up automatically!
