Fab Friday Challenge 90 – Tandem – Penny Black

Fab Friday Challenge 90 – Tandem – Penny Black

Welcome back to the Fab Friday challenge over at the Fab Friday Challenge Blog!

This week we have a color challenge:

Fab Friday Logos-018

I figured the best use of such a color scheme was for a 4th of July card. I decided to use a stamp set from Penny Black which was not a patriotic set and turn it into one. Lookie:

STINKIN CUTE! (YILM!) These cute mice created by Mo Manning are riding in the 4th of July parade decked out in red, white, and blue!

I colored the image with Copics.

I used the Banner Builder punch from SU! To create the greeting. I added some Sakura Stardust pen over the word July.

These banners cut with MFT dies and paper hide a little secret…I cut the bottom of the image too short and there is a space at the bottom…Nicely covered with these!

I used some Doodlebug Sprinkles from the Graduation assortment to accent the card.

Such fun!

Below is my list of products that I used, and I have used compensated affiliate links where they were available, as I now participate in affiliate programs for Simon Says Stamp, Amazon, Ellen Hutson LLC, Scrapbook.com, Ribbon Resource, Gina K, and Blick Art Supplies. Buying through these links costs you nothing extra and helps support my blog and my artistic endeavors, and I thank you. Stampin' Up! product links lead to their webstore, so please be sure to indicate your preference in demonstrator if it doesn't come up automatically!

You'll be able to see all of the Fab Friday team's creations and post one of your own by visiting the Fab Friday blog. You can also visit the other DT members' blogs and see what they've done with this challenge:
