The Frantic Stamper – Stay Cool – Retro Fan
It's hot here in Michigan. I guess it's pretty hot everywhere lately, at least in the Northern hemisphere. You folks on the other side of the globe are probably enjoying much more temperate weather.
I am not a fan (har har) of hot weather. My favorite season is autumn, followed by spring. Summer and winter are a bit of a toss up. I hate the most whichever of them I'm in at the time. I tolerate both of them for the sake of autumn and spring.
What I am a fan of is this combination of dies from The Frantic Stamper. This is the perfect card to send at this time of year. Lookie:
SUPER COOL! (YILM!) I wanted a masculine retro look, so I chose a paper pack from Echo Park with this cool fan paper and other masculine selections. I've had it for a while, but The Frantic Stamper still has some, so I have linked it up below! All the papers except the card base and the greeting are from this pack.
I die cut the fan from this great newsprint paper in the pad and sponged the edges.
I double die cut the greeting and stacked it for a great shadowed font.
I added this great Prima Marketing metal embellishment.
A bit of baker's twine finishes it off right.
Below is my list of products that I used, and I have used compensated affiliate links where they were available, as I now participate in affiliate programs for Simon Says Stamp, Amazon, Ellen Hutson LLC, Scrapbook.com, Ribbon Resource, Gina K, and Blick Art Supplies. Buying through these links costs you nothing extra and helps support my blog and my artistic endeavors, and I thank you.
