Wplus9 Friends for All Seasons with Color My World – Simon Wednesday Challenge – Let’s Go Wild

I decided to play yet another challenge, this time on the Simon Wednesday Challenge blog. The challenge was "Let's Go Wild" which could include wild animals or going wild with something like color. They are also featuring Wplus9 stamps, and I thought, "Why not do it ALL?!?" i.e., wild animals, wild with color, AND Wplus9 stamps? After all, in my attempt to get through all the unused rubbah (well, polymer) in my stash, I have the two perfect sets from Wplus9, Friends for All Seasons (wild animals) and Color My World (color)! I got a great idea, and well, lookie:

SO CUTE! I love this little panda and decided that he was going to be painting a beautiful rainbow path.

I stamped the little panda from one set with the brush with the other with Intense Black ink from Simon Says Stamp, which I stamped multiple times using my MISTI to get a nice even coverage. I colored the images with Copic markers then cut them out with the PixScan sheet and the Silhouette.

I painted the rainbow path on watercolor paper using my Peerless watercolors, sketching the outline lightly with pencil and blending each color into the next one. I then dried the paper with my heat tool then lightly erased the pencil lines.

I stamped the greeting on top of the painting after dusting it with the EK Success powder tool, then heat embossed with white EP.

I grabbed some beautiful rainbow sequins from Taylored Expressions to accent the card front. I love how it turned out!

Below is my list of products that I used, and I have used compensated affiliate links where they were available, as I now participate in affiliate programs for Simon Says Stamp, Amazon, Ellen Hutson LLC, Scrapbook.com, Ribbon Resource, Gina K, and Blick Art Supplies. Buying through these links costs you nothing extra and helps support my blog and my artistic endeavors, and I thank you!

Enjoy! Ta!
