Doodlebug Design – Flea Market Birthday Card
I needed to make a birthday card for one of my daughter Emily's friends. He's a great guy who has helped us out by helping Emily move into and out of the dorm and giving her rides home from school. They've been friends since middle school and he's like one of my own kids now, so I couldn't believe I had never made him a card before. It was more than time. He's really into photography, and we've happily passed all our older cameras on to him, but still, not the same as a handmade card. I had bought the 6 x 6 paper pad and some of the card stock stickers and other embellishments from the Doodlebug Design Flea Market line which features cameras among other things, so I got busy. Lookie:
I love these Classic Camera Mini Doodle Pops!
All the papers except the card stock come from the 6 x 6 pad, cut out with MFT's Blueprints 13 and stitched rounded rectangle STAX.
The Surf Blue card stock was embossed using the new Taylored Expressions plaid embossing folder. I added a bit of the Cloud Nine washi tape and some Bon Bon twine too.
I love how it turned out, and the birthday boy loved it too!
