Let me take you to Coffee Town! Sweet Stamp Shop

Okay, I just couldn't resist. The name of this SWEET little set from Sweet Stamp Shop has had me boogying to memories from the dear dead days beyond recall.

I first had my eye caught by the washi tape, though! I saw someone post a picture on Instagram, and I just had to have this great assortment. And while I was ordering, I figure why not throw a couple of sets of stamps in as well? There are SO many cute ones in their shop that it was hard to pick, but of course, I needed a coffee one.

Once I got it, I tried to narrow down which stamps of the set I should use. I finally decided just to use them all! Lookie:

STINKIN' CUTE! I figured a modified subway art look was just the ticket! I tried coloring the images in with a couple of different things, but in order to set off the washi tape, I decided that Prismacolor pencils were perfect. And I was right!

I chose all the colors to match the colors in the washi tape. I stamped all the images (not the words) on a piece of MFT Kraft card stock and colored them all in. I like a very heavy application of Prismacolor, because it looks like paint that way. Then I cut them out using my Pixscan mat with my Silhouette Cameo.

I laid the word stamps in my MISTI and arranged the cut images among them until I was satisfied. I then plopped the lid of the MISTI down to pick up all the stamps and removed the cut images. I then stamped with the MISTI, more than once to get a nice dark image.

Once I did that, I added my cut images to their places with dimensional foam dots. I colored the word Coffee in with more Prismacolors. I then added all the washi and the Doodlebug Matte Sprinkles.

A little bit of pink baker's twin is the perfect finishing touch!

So cute!

Below is my list of products that I used, and I have used compensated affiliate links where they were available, as I now participate in affiliate programs for Simon Says Stamp, Amazon, Ellen Hutson LLC, Scrapbook.com, Ribbon Resource, Gina K, Sissix, and Blick Art Supplies. Buying through these links costs you nothing extra and helps support my blog and my artistic endeavors, and I thank you.

Enjoy! Ta!
