Paper Crafts Crew #226 – Mama Elephant Little Cat Agenda

Welcome back to the Paper Crafts Crew Challenge! This week we have a theme challenge:

PCC226

I make more birthday cards than anything so it was just a matter of picking something I hadn't used yet (still a lot of things!) and getting busy. I decided to use Little Cat Agenda from Mama Elephant in combination with You Matter with the matching You Matter die from Simon Says Stamp. Lookie:

STINKIN' CUTE! It's really not my usual. I was restrained, but really, it didn't need a lot to make all of this pop! I grabbed my Doodlebug Design Kitten Smitten pad (I thought that quite apropos) for the patterned paper on the bottom.

I colored the kitty with Copic Markers and highlighted the candles with my favorite Sakura Stardust pen. I think the three pink rhinestones just underneath her is just the perfect accent!

The You die was double cut from two different card stocks and layered up to make a really dimensional greeting. I stamped the other part of the greeting in Versamark and embossed it with white EP. I also highlighted the You with the Sakura Stardust pen for a little bit more bling.

Originally I had a narrower strip of the striped paper at the bottom with the You floating above it but there was just too much blank space. I like this better. And I love these little cats, although right now they are sold out at my affiliates so you will have to wait patiently!

You can play along with our challenge by clicking on this link.

Below is my list of products that I used, and I have used compensated affiliate links where they were available, as I now participate in affiliate programs for Simon Says Stamp, Amazon, Ellen Hutson LLC, Scrapbook.com, Ribbon Resource, Gina K, Sissix, and Blick Art Supplies. Buying through these links costs you nothing extra and helps support my blog and my artistic endeavors, and I thank you. Stampin' Up! links lead to their webstore, where you can select your favorite demonstrator to check out with or check out as a guest.

Enjoy! Ta!
