Paper Craft Crew #239 – Gina K Sending Love

Welcome back to the Paper Crafts Crew Challenge! This week we have a sketch challenge:

So, I was grateful for a relatively easy challenge. I love metallic embellishments, and always enjoy a touch of metal on any card I make. And to do this, I finally cracked open some Gina K. stuff I had bought quite a while ago and had occasionally flipped through, and had not been able to whomp up any sort of idea for. I dunno why. However, I spent a whole WEEK not touching my stamps. I just had no creative urge that wasn't being satisfied with cooking, something I also enjoy and had not done much of until I had a great looking kitchen to do it in. I finally managed to get my mojo working and made this card. Lookie:

GOJUS! I had always looked at this set with the thought of coloring in the butterflies, but instead, I decided to grab the Gina K. ink pads I had bought along with the matching cardstock and this beautiful patterned paper.

The copper stripe of this beautiful washi tape by Little B became part of my metallic embellishment as well as the copper cord by May Arts. All the colors in the stripes matched my butterfly colors.

I added a couple of Doodlebug Matte sprinkles in the lower left corner.

I cut out one purple butterfly and popped him up in the upper left corner.

You can play along with our challenge by clicking on this link.

Below is my list of products that I used, and I have used compensated affiliate links where they were available, as I now participate in affiliate programs for Simon Says Stamp, Amazon, Ellen Hutson LLC,, Gina K, Sizzix, and Blick Art Supplies. Buying through these links costs you nothing extra and helps support my blog and my artistic endeavors, and I thank you.

Enjoy! Ta!
