Paper Crafts Crew 262 – Essentials by Ellen All Inside with Bear Ware 2
Welcome back to the Paper Crafts Crew Challenge! This week we have a tic-tac-toe challenge:
I decided to do the center vertical row, Baker’s Twine, Fall, and Punch/Die Cut. And I knew I wanted to grab an Essentials by Ellen set I just got, Bear Ware 2 to use with my FAVORITE bear from All Inside for a great Halloween card!
Stinkin’ cute! I wanted to have more than one bear, and I decided to make a gallery of bears, with the star stamp from Wonky Backgrounds behind the bears. I carefully measured to place the center window from MFT’s Stitched Inside and Outside Rounded Rectangles exactly in the middle, then carefully placed the same window to the left and right of the center window to make the gallery. I used the misty to stamp the star background from Wonky backgrounds with Memento Grape Jelly ink. I added some of the stars from the Wonky Background stamp set using Delicata White Shimmer ink.
I stamped the bears and the accessory pieces with Versafine Onyx Black on Strathmore Smooth Bristol then colored them with Zig Clean Color markers. It was fun choosing which accessories went with which bears.
I originally had the kitty in the window with the witch bear on top of the right-most bear’s head, but it just didn’t work, so I put the kitty in with the witch bear and it was just right!
I carefully lined up all the sentiments in a straight line in the MISTI. I added some Baker’s Twine per the challenge and a couple of orange enamel dots to pull the orange to the other side of the card.
I love this bear! This is a set I return to again and again.
