Fab Friday 127 – Winnie and Walter Winter Wishes
Well, this made things quite easy for me, as I already had created a couple of Christmas cards that I needed to blog! I had bought this cute set recently and I pulled it out to play with because I got my Christmas present early this year. Yes, I finally bit the bullet and bought a Brother ScanNCut 2!
STINKIN’ CUTE!!! I love these little penguins! They are so cute! I made the background with Distress Oxide inks.
The penguins and ice floes were colored in with Copic markers before taking them to the ScanNCut. Look at how even those borders are around them!
I used a dry brush and Hero Arts Unicorn White pigment ink to create the reflection underneath the ice floes.
I used MFT’s Stitched Sentiment Strips to create the greeting. I added Wink of Stella clear over the icebergs in the background (MFT’s Icebergs dies) and the ice floes.
It’s SO cute. I’m obsessed with the Brother ScanNCut now!
Below is my list of products that I used, and I have used compensated affiliate links where they were available, as I now participate in affiliate programs for Simon Says Stamp, Amazon, Ellen Hutson LLC, Scrapbook.com, Gina K, Sizzix, and Blick Art Supplies. Stampin’ Up! links lead to my BFF Wendy Weixler’s store, whose friendship is something I highly value, and I’m always happy to throw business her way. She does not reimburse me for doing so. If you have your own demo, you can of course change over to them. Buying through these links costs you nothing extra and helps support my blog and my artistic endeavors, and I thank you.
If you’re reading this in an email, you’ll have to click TWICE on the links below, once to get to the LinkDeli site and again to get to the shop of your choice.
