Paper Craft Crew Challenge 280 – Altenew Rose Flurries Dies Plus Birthday Builder and Watercolor Stripes Cover Plate
Welcome back to the Paper Craft Crew Challenge! This week we have a sketch challenge.
I liked the gradation from the top to bottom of the background, and it gave me an idea using some Altenew goodies that I just got. Lookie:
GOJUS! I had to wait patiently for these dies and the stamp set, as they sold out everywhere from Altenew’s January release, but they were worth the wait! I rotated the sketch 90 degrees so I could use the Watercolor Stripes cover plate, and I created the background behind it using Distress Oxide inks.
I used a combination of MFT Stamp’s card stock and Simon Says Stamp card stock to cut the layers for these gorgeous flowers.
I used the Birthday Builder set to create the greeting using Versamark ink and Hero Arts White EP. I LOVE this set, because there are so many different versions of the words Happy and Birthday in many different fonts and sizes. I will be getting a lot of use out of this!
I added a few sequins here and there to give some sparkle.
I’m really happy with how this turned out…I’m going to have a lot of fun with these dies and this stamp set!

Below is my list of products that I used, and I have used compensated affiliate links where they were available, as I now participate in affiliate programs for Simon Says Stamp, Amazon, Ellen Hutson LLC, Scrapbook.com, Gina K, Sizzix, and Blick Art Supplies. Stampin’ Up! links go to my BFF Wendy Weixler’s store, who does not pay me except in eternal friendship, but you can change to your favorite demonstrator if you prefer. Buying through these links costs you nothing extra and helps support my blog and my artistic endeavors, and I thank you.
