My Favorite Things Warm & Fuzzy Friends Farewell
So, I joined the affiliate program at MFT Stamps and thought I’d kick off things by making a card. I made this card the other day, and I just love it. I came to share it with you today, and I was surprised to find that this stamp set, matching dies, and paper pad have been discontinued! You can still find the set at Scrapbook.com and the matching dies are still available at Ellen Hutson, and they are on sale in both places, so if you don’t want to miss out, git on over there. I’m sad about the paper pad because I couldn’t find it anywhere. Boo. Anyway, lookie:
STINKIN’ CUTE!!! I used the Birthday Wishes Frame from Simon Says Stamp to make my Instamatic frame, just snipping out the words and leaving the frame behind.
I used the Mini Edges Cloud Stencil to make the sky background. I colored my warm and fuzzy friends with Copic markers and cut them out with the matching dies.
I used MFT Stamps Blueprints 13 dies to cut the faux washi tape pieces. I stamped two of the smaller words from this set on some Blu Raspberry card stock and stapled it on the side on top of the faux washi tape pieces. A few enamel dots down the side helped balance out the greeting in the bottom corner.
It turned out SO CUTE. I’m hoping someone manages to score these cute stamps and matching dies before they disappear!
Below is my list of products that I used, and I have used compensated affiliate links where they were available, as I now participate in affiliate programs for Simon Says Stamp, Amazon, Ellen Hutson LLC, Scrapbook.com, Gina K, Hallmark Scrapbook, MFT Stamps, Sizzix, and Blick Art Supplies. Stampin’ Up! links lead to my BFF Wendy Weixler’s store, whose friendship is something I highly value, and I’m always happy to throw business her way. She does not reimburse me for doing so. If you have your own demo, you can of course change over to them. Buying through these links costs you nothing extra and helps support my blog and my artistic endeavors, and I thank you.If you’re reading this in an email, you’ll have to click TWICE on the links below, once to get to the LinkDeli site and again to get to the shop of your choice.
