Mama Elephant – The Dog’s Woof

Mama Elephant – The Dog’s Woof

I have a family of dog lovers. Even though we have never owned a dog and probably will never own one (husband has allergies), my kids went from being scared to death of dogs at one point to worshiping them. I’m a cat person myself and so is my husband, but I do like dogs too. So when it was time for Emily’s birthday, I decided I needed to make her yet another card with dogs on it. And by using this STINKIN CUTE stamp set form Mama Elephant, I could put many many dogs on her card. Lookie:

STINKIN’ CUTE!!! This took a while to color, just because I had to make so many DECISIONS about what colors to use next. Unlike the cat I made with The Cat’s Meow that was colored with rainbow colors, I decided to keep the colors more natural (well, other than the pink poodle on the right, but that had to be done!)

I added a little white gel pen to the Scotties muzzle and a few other places and used a Sakura Stardust pen to add glittery accents to the party hats.

I did the background clouds with Salty Ocean distress ink and the Mini Cloud Edges edges stencil from MFT Stamps.

I stamped the greeting from Mama Elephant’s Scripty Birthday. It turned out AWESOME, and Emily LOVED IT.
