Paper Craft Crew 289 – Concord & 9th Wreath Turnabout
Welcome back to the Paper Craft Crew Challenge! This week we have an inspiration challenge.
I decided to play with some of my new Concord & 9th stamps from the most recent release, but also add some Concord & 9th dies from the last release that I hadn’t had a chance to use yet. I decided to do a wedding card, so I revisited the Rifle Paper Company’s site to get some color ideas. I decided that it would be a square card since the Wreath Turnabout stamps work best with a square format. It’s a good size for accompanying a wedding gift…but bigger than the usual inclusion card. After I stamped my first piece, I decided the green shade I chose was a little more yellow than my color reference, so I ended up stamping another piece with a different shade. And then I decided that both of the pieces were just fine, so I went ahead and made TWO cards! Lookie:
GOJUS! I love both of these! I used Altenew LLC’s inks for both.
For the centers, I used the Yay dies from Concord & 9th’s last release. I left the centers out of the letters that had them because I like that look. I used Wink of Stella Clear all over the die cut piece in the centers of both cards just to add a little somethin’ somethin’.
And I added some Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear sequins scattered around over the wreath to add even more somethin’.
I’m happy with these! I love the Wreath Tournabout stamp, and it was great choosing fresh contemporary colors. I’m going to have to find some wrapping paper that matches!

Below is my list of products that I used, and I have used compensated affiliate links where they were available, as I now participate in affiliate programs for Simon Says Stamp, Amazon, Ellen Hutson LLC, Scrapbook.com, Gina K, Sizzix, and Blick Art Supplies. Stampin’ Up! links go to my BFF Wendy Weixler’s store, who does not pay me except in eternal friendship, but you can change to your favorite demonstrator if you prefer. Buying through these links costs you nothing extra and helps support my blog and my artistic endeavors, and I thank you.
