Avery Elle – Hats Off
I made this card for that commission I did for graduation cards last month. I’ve had this set since last year and had never gotten around to using it, so I was glad to pull it out finally and use it! And today I found out it’s retired, but you can still pick it up in a few places, like Scrapbook.com, on sale! Lookie:
I stamped the hands image and multiple impressions on the hat image on Neenah Solar White 80 lb.
I colored the images with Copic markers and added a bit of Sakura Stardust for a teensy bit of bling.
I cut two pieces of cardstock with the Painted Congrats die from Simon Says Stamp, one from Lipstick Red and one from black card stock and layered them up to create a shadow effect. I added some clear Wink of Stella to give a little more shimmer.
I still had a few stars from my package of Doodlebug Sprinkles Graduation Collection Sprinkles, so I put some around the Congrats. This is the other card my customer chose out of the three I made!
Below is my list of products that I used, and I have used compensated affiliate links where they were available, as I now participate in affiliate programs for Simon Says Stamp, Amazon, Ellen Hutson LLC, Scrapbook.com, Gina K, Hallmark Scrapbook, My Favorite Things, Sizzix, and Blick Art Supplies. Stampin’ Up! links lead to my BFF Wendy Weixler’s store, whose friendship is something I highly value, and I’m always happy to throw business her way. She does not reimburse me for doing so. If you have your own demo, you can of course change over to them. Buying through these links costs you nothing extra and helps support my blog and my artistic endeavors, and I thank you.If you’re reading this in an email, you’ll have to click TWICE on the links below, once to get to the LinkDeli site and again to get to the shop of your choice.
