Welcome back to the Fab Friday challenge over at the Fab Friday Challenge Blog
! This week we have a color challenge, and I decided to grab Have Courage from Neat & Tangled.
I don’t have these colors any longer, so I figured I could recreate them by coloring, and this stamp set was perfect for that. Lookie:
GOJUS! I love these gingko leaves, and I colored them in all the different colors, which I know is not realistic, but WHO CARES! They are pretty!
I used my Prismacolor pencils, which I have not used in FOR-EV-ER. I love the way they blend to create a gradated look. I stamped this on Bazzill Card Shoppe Alpaca, which is a nice soft gray.
I stamped the word Courage on a piece of SU! Powder Pink that I still happened to have and cut it out with my Brother ScanNCut
2. I used my MISTI to divide the greeting “I Believe in You” by stamping “In You” first, only inking up that portion, and then doing the same with “I Believe.”
I decided to add some bling, so I put some Pretty Pink Posh Rose Gold sequins on the background, my favorite Sakura Stardust on the word Courage, and added some Wink of Stella Clear to just the pink leaves.
I have someone in mind for this card…I hope she finds it as beautiful as I do!
Below is my list of products that I used, and I have used compensated affiliate links where they were available, as I now participate in affiliate programs for Simon Says Stamp, Amazon, Ellen Hutson LLC, Scrapbook.com, Gina K, Hallmark Scrapbook, My Favorite Things, Sizzix, and Blick Art Supplies. Stampin’ Up! links lead to my BFF Wendy Weixler’s store, whose friendship is something I highly value, and I’m always happy to throw business her way. She does not reimburse me for doing so. If you have your own demo, you can of course change over to them. Buying through these links costs you nothing extra and helps support my blog and my artistic endeavors, and I thank you.If you’re reading this in an email, you’ll have to click TWICE on the links below, once to get to the LinkDeli site and again to get to the shop of your choice.
