Paper Craft Crew Challenge 299 – Simon Says Stamp – One Cool Pineapple

Welcome back to the Paper Craft Crew Challenge! This week we have a color challenge. As it so happens, I had similar colors laying on my desk in the form of the July card kit from Simon Says Stamp with the stamp set One Cool Pineapple. At least, there were a lot of flamingos in the kit in the form of a stamp and a die along with stickers and paper, which took care of the pink and a little bit yellow.
Lookie:
I had fun making this! I used the Flamingo die that came in the kit to cut out three flamingos from Neenah Solar White card stock. I then colored them with Copic markers.
I used the Simon Says Stamp Waves & Hills stencil to create the background with Distress Salty Ocean ink and sprinkled on a little water to make it look even more water-like. For the lime green color, I added these beautiful Peridot Mist sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.
I stamped the greeting after I finished the stenciling with Versamark and heat embossed in white EP from Hero Arts.
It sure is colorful and fun! This set has so many cute images and sayings. I can’t wait to use it again!

Gorgeous card Jan! Simon’s flamingos are gorgeous and I love the background you’ve created.
