Paper Craft Crew 298 – Concord & 9th Furry Friends
Welcome back to the Paper Craft Crew Challenge! This week we have a sketch challenge.
I grabbed a set I had gotten from Concord & 9th’s LAST release. I’m really trying to use things when I get them, and I am TRYING to use almost everything that I buy from a company’s release before I buy the next one. So while I LOVE what’s in the current release, I still have a lot of things from the last one to use, and I really thought that this set and matching dies were great for this sketch. Lookie:
I was going for a) a woodland vibe and b) somewhat masculine so no bling per se.
I stamped the birthday bear, hat, bow tie, leaf, and his leafy background with Altenew inks and Memento Tuxedo Black. I also colored some of the stripes in the hat with Copic markers.
I love this kraft woodgrain card stock from Ellen Hutson LLC, and I also added the woodgrain sequins from Studio Calico…they are very hard to find, but I tracked them down and linked them up below.
I think this turned out so cute! I love these Furry Friends!
You can play along with our challenge by clicking on this link.
Below is my list of products that I used, and I have used compensated affiliate links where they were available, as I now participate in affiliate programs for Simon Says Stamp, Amazon, Ellen Hutson LLC, Scrapbook.com, Gina K, Sizzix, and Blick Art Supplies. Stampin’ Up! links go to my BFF Wendy Weixler’s store, who does not pay me except in eternal friendship, but you can change to your favorite demonstrator if you prefer. Buying through these links costs you nothing extra and helps support my blog and my artistic endeavors, and I thank you.
