Fab Friday 149 – Simon Says Stamp Critter Sweaters
Welcome back to the Fab Friday challenge over at the Fab Friday Challenge Blog! This week we have a sketch challenge. For this cute sketch, I grabbed Simon Says Stamp Critter Sweaters, a stinkin’ cute stamp set with matching dies.
I can’t believe I let two weeks go by without posting on my blog, but I have been working on new stamps for Mitten State Stamps, and I dropped out of the Paper Crafts Crew so that I could spend more time on that, and time just flew by!

I also wanted to use a new paper pad I got from My Mind’s Eye called Jingle All the Way because there are such cute papers with beautiful colors. Lookie:

STINKIN’ CUTE! The whole premise of the Critter Sweaters is that you die cut the animals then stamp the different lines of stamps to create cute sweater patterns. It’s a ton of fun!

I think these little animals are stinkin’ cute! I had fun figuring out the colors to use!

I stamped the greeting with Simon’s Embossing and Watermark ink, the first time I’ve tried it after I got it in a card kit, and I must say, it works great!. I added one of the new snowflake dies from Simon, Alicia Snowflake, behind the piece of Jingle All the Way snowflake paper die cut from Surf Blue card stock.

I added some Doodlebug Christmas twine and some enamel dots from Echo Park to finish the card off. I actually stamped the bear shape too, so I can make another card with that! I really like Simon Says Stamp Critter Sweaters and plan on using it often.

Below is my list of products that I used, and I have used compensated affiliate links where they were available, as I now participate in affiliate programs for Simon Says Stamp, Amazon, Ellen Hutson LLC, Scrapbook.com, Gina K, Hallmark Scrapbook, My Favorite Things, Sizzix, and Blick Art Supplies.

Buying through these links costs you nothing extra but gives me a small percentage of the purchase price, which helps support my blog and my artistic endeavors, and I thank you.

If you’re reading this in an email, you’ll have to click TWICE on the links below, once to get to the LinkDeli site and again to get to the shop of your choice.
