Coffee Helps – Verve Stamps – Coffee Loving Papercrafters Blog Hop
I was excited to order this set from Verve's latest release. I've always loved Julee's style, and when it comes to coffee, it's something near and dear to my heart (it really is, since I just drank a Caramel Macchiato not long ago!) I wanted to participate in the Coffee Loving Papercrafter's Blog Hop. The theme is spring, and while I know I said the other day it's hard to make a coffee card with rainbow colors, I found there is a way…you have to use brown ink for your greeting and outlines. Lookie:
GOJUS!!! (YILM!) I did some fun things on this card! I stamped my drift of flowers, the coffee cups, and the greeting with My Favorite Things Hot Fudge hybrid ink. The coffee cups were cut out using the PixScan.
I colored all the image with Copic markers, and then I had a brain wave. Why not color some nice Pretty Pink Posh sparkling clear sequins with the same Copics I used to color the images?
The result is perfectly matching sequins!
Below is my list of products that I used, and I have used affiliate links where they were available, as I now participate in affiliate programs for Simon Says Stamp, Amazon, Ellen Hutson LLC, Scrapbook.com, Ribbon Resource, and Blick Art Supplies. Buying through these links costs you nothing, helps support my blog and my artistic endeavors, and I thank you. Stampin' Up! product links lead to their webstore, so please be sure to indicate your preference in demonstrator if it doesn't come up automatically!
