Creating Layers for Stampin’ Up!’s Circle & Label Flip Cards

Creating Layers for Stampin’ Up!’s Circle & Label Flip Cards

When I posted the two cards on my last Freak Tour post, I got several comments/emails regarding how I managed to do the layers.

Originally, the way I did them was kind of convoluted, and I knew that I would have to post a video showing how. And I knew I would have to wait until Friday to make it becuase, like, WORK.

And then.

I got.

A brainstorm!

Friday came and I tried it and it was so totally easy and you are going to love me even MORE now!

But I still needed to make the video. Und I did! But then I had these cool pieces so I made this card with them:

LovelyAsATree082413
Ingredients: Stamps – Lovely as a Tree, Blooming with Kindness; Paper – Etcetera DSP, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Night of Navy, Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Old Olive; Ink – Early Espresso, Baked Brown Sugar, Calypso Coral, Old Olive, Night of Navy; Circle Card Thinlit Dies, Circles Collection Framelits, 2-1/2" Circle punch, Night of Navy stitched grosgrain, dimensionals, sponge wedges, sponge daubers, blender pen, Baked Brown Sugar marker, Signo white gel pen, Regals Candy Dots.

GOJUS!!! (YILM!) And yes, it's the stamp set that WOULD NOT DIE! Shelli (may she live forever) made jokes about this at convention. Let's face it,  LAAT is IMMORTAL. It found the philosopher's stone, it drank from the fountain of youth, it drank from the Holy Grail; whatever it did, it's here to stay, so you might as well just learn to love it!

I know…it isn't easy if you've been a demo as long as some of us old codgers. This stamp set was in the catalog when I became a demonstrator, which was over 10 years ago! But to make you feel better, here's the video:

Enjoy!
