This week we have a color challenge:
I like these colors a lot, so I started ruminating on just what set to use. I grabbed my pile of recently-acquired and unused stamps, and Otterly Awesome seemed to swim right to the top and say, USE ME! And so I did! Lookie:
STINKIN' CUTE!!! It's a slider card! I used the Surf and Turf set of dies from My Favorite Things to create my slider element. Lookie:
Look at that cutie slide!
I love this stamp set and it's matching dies! The otters can hold onto things, and I can think of so many possibilities! I stamped him, colored him with Copics (and his little fish too!) and die cut both out with the matching dies.
You've got Adele playing in your head now, dontcha? I do! I stamped the greeting with Night of Navy ink and quickly embossed with clear EP.
I kind of went overboard on embellishments, but it totally works, don't you think? I love the Fishy Bones clips from Doodlebug, not just for cats obviously!
The Old Olive background was made by stamping with Versamark and embossing with clear EP, then gently rubbed Old Olive ink over them.
Below is my list of products that I used, and I have used compensated affiliate links where they were available, as I now participate in affiliate programs for Simon Says Stamp, Amazon, Ellen Hutson LLC, Scrapbook.com, Gina K, Sizzix, and Blick Art Supplies. Buying through these links costs you nothing extra and helps support my blog and my artistic endeavors, and I thank you. Stampin' Up! links lead to their website, where you can check out either with your favorite demonstrator or as a guest.
You'll be able to see all of the Fab Friday team's creations and post one of your own by visiting the Fab Friday blog. You can also visit the other DT members' blogs and see what they've done with this challenge:
