I made this card almost a year ago for a guest designer spot for an online store that went offline before I had a chance to post it to my blog. So I kept thinking I would post it and just sat on it until now, when I was reminded about it when my daughter Emily decided she would like to have the card to give to one of her friends. Hmmm…guess I should post it!
STINKIN’ CUTE!!! They let me choose a couple sets, and their selection was not that wide, but you can’t go wrong with Lawn Fawn!
I created the tank scene using copic markers. The “waves” were made using the colorless blender. I also had fun putting in the little dots on the gravel. I covered the whole thing with Ranger Glossy Accents to make it look like glass.
The background was created with watercolor paper and sponged distress ink, which then was dotted with water and the water blotted up. The little bow helped pick up the pink color in the tank.
I love the Doodlebug Design Sprinkles which look like bubbles or water droplets!
Below is my list of products that I used, and I have used compensated affiliate links where they were available, as I now participate in affiliate programs for Simon Says Stamp, Amazon, Ellen Hutson LLC, Scrapbook.com, Gina K, Sizzix, and Blick Art Supplies. Stampin’ Up! links go to my BFF Wendy Weixler’s store, who does not pay me except in eternal friendship, but you can change to your favorite demonstrator if you prefer. Buying through these links costs you nothing extra and helps support my blog and my artistic endeavors, and I thank you.
