Welcome back to the Paper Crafts Crew Challenge! This week we have a color challenge:
The rules are to pick 3 of the 4 colors. Well, I didn't want to leave any of these colors out! So I used them all! I decided to grab a stamp…yeah, yeah, yada yada, had it a long time, haven't used it, la la la, why don't I tell you something you haven't heard before! Anyway…lookie:
GOJUS! I think this card would be perfect for graduation or any occasion where someone is transitioning from their old life to their new one.
I colored the stamped image with Copic markers and highlighted with a white gel pen and my favorite Sakura Stardust pen.
I used this great Stitches Cover Plate from Essentials by Ellen to create the background. It gives a lot of texture without a lot of volume like an embossing folder and echos the Cross-Stitch Circle die from My Favorite Things perfectly.
For accents, I used some tiny Prima flowers along with this cute wooden butterfly from Kaisercraft.
I had put a Doodlebug Lily White Sprinkles in the center of one of the flowers, but I wanted to add one more to create that important visual triangle. But the white was too white, so I colored it with a Copic marker to match the yellow on the butterfly.

Below is my list of products that I used, and I have used compensated affiliate links where they were available, as I now participate in affiliate programs for Simon Says Stamp, Amazon, Ellen Hutson LLC, Scrapbook.com, Gina K, Sizzix, and Blick Art Supplies. Buying through these links costs you nothing extra and helps support my blog and my artistic endeavors, and I thank you.
