Stampin’ Up! Bright & Beautiful

Stampin’ Up! Bright & Beautiful

Right now, we have a Big Shot special going on. If you buy a Big Shot, you get your choice of several stamp/die bundles free! If you already have a Big Shot, you can purchase one of these special bundles for 15% off. This is available through August 31st.

I was excited because one of the bundles offered is a new set from the Holiday Catalog plus the Star Framelits from the catalog, both of which were on my wish list so the bundle went on my preorder. I've been wanting a set of star Framelits for just for-ev-er,and the new set is the bomb-diggity-bomb, so when I got these, I got all kinds of inspired and this is the result:

GOJUS! (YILM!) I actually got out my Sew Mini and sewed the vellum to the patterned paper:

I need to get busy again with my holiday mini sets. I spent a lot of time yesterday prepping older cards for my Etsy shop, but today is going to be for play! And going to Target to buy stuff so my younger two can be equipped for school tomorrow. Will managed to put holes in his jeans, holes in his backpack, and holes in his shoes so it all has to be bought along with the usual binders, notebooks, pens, and paper for both of them. They already went to orientation on Friday, where I got to drop an astonishing $656 on books ("only $10 away from the number of the beast!" quipped one of the teachers checking us out (only at a Catholic school do you get this sort of humor). I had to ask my parents for their usual contribution to the Tinklenberg tuition fund just to cover that! Laurel still has a couple weeks before she heads back to Hogwarts, which is what we call College for Creative Studies where she is studies illustration. She's looking forward to getting back there and away from the Muggles.
