Stampin’ Up! Gentle Peace with a New Technique
I got this set a while back, and it had a big flaw in it, so Stampin' Up! sent me a new one. At which point, I was very busy and didn't get to it for a while!
I had this brilliant idea for it, though, and I finally got to try out my brilliant idea, which worked brilliantly. But then I tried to make it into a card and totally bolluxed it up. Everything I did to try to fix it bolluxed it up more, so I had to wait until I had time to redo it, and when I finally did, it was so GOJUS and cool that I knew I would have to a do a video just because you would want to see how to do it, and there are a number of little tricks to doing this technique that would be better shown than explained. So I had to sit on my brilliance some more (a lot of people think it's located in the right place for that) and wait until I had time to do the video. That meant clearing off some things off my to-do list so that I wouldn't feel guilty for neglecting those things while I made the video. Sigh…why does life have to be so complicated?
ANYWAY! I will first show you the card, then give you a crack at the video. Lookie:
GOJUS!!! (YILM!) Another view:
The image is stamped on a window sheet with Stazon then colored on the back with Blendabilities. It is then layered over, da da da dah!
I hand cut the mat to fit over the image. And since I have had a lot of questions, I ended up cutting the glimmer paper to the same size as the stamp, adhering it to a piece of cardstock, then adhering the window sheet to that cardstock before putting the mat on top.
I also colored the rhinestones to match. GOJUS!!!
And here's the video:
