Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop – Hero Arts Coffee Cup Tags
Hey y'all! Finally managed to make a card with this awesome set I've had for a while just in time for the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! And while I was at it, I decided to enter another card for the Ice Challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.
This is the inspiration board for the Ice Challenge. I entered my last card in the challenge, but the colors weren't quite right, so I decided to do another one.
GOJUS!!! I used some papers from the beautiful Tis The Season 6 x 6 paper pad from Bo Bunny and I used Blueprints #13 from My Favorite Things to cut most of the elements aside from the cup itself, for which I used the matching dies for the set. For the card base, I actually pulled out some retired SU! card stock, Bordering Blue, because it is the perfect match for these papers.
I decided to use the Light to Red Royal Ombre pad from Hero Arts to add some interest to the cup.
I embossed the greeting using Versamark and Hero Arts white EP on some Kraft Core from Tim Holtz.
I used the Juniper punch from Tim Holtz with more of the same Kraft Core cardstock. After that, I dipped into some retired stuff from SU! that I couldn't NOT use, including the cute felt snowflake and the tinsel string/yarn. I have linked up some similar products below…that tinsel string, in particular is so cool and was really hard to track down! I used a Doodlebug Sprinkle in the center of the felt snowflake.
I stamped the whip using Memento London Fog, and the holly sprig is Pinefeather from Papertreyink. I added some Xmas Red Stickles on the berries, and a couple of more silver Doodlebug Sprinkles are in the upper right corner to help complete the visual triangle.
I love how it turned out!
Below is my list of products that I used, and I have used compensated affiliate links where they were available, as I now participate in affiliate programs for Simon Says Stamp, Amazon, Ellen Hutson LLC, Scrapbook.com, Ribbon Resource, Gina K, Sissix, and Blick Art Supplies. Buying through these links costs you nothing extra and helps support my blog and my artistic endeavors, and I thank you.
