Paper Crafts Crew 275 – Really Like You – Simon Says Stamp January 2018 Card Kit
Welcome back to the Paper Crafts Crew Challenge! This week we have a sketch challenge.
I was happy about this because I had a big sentiment die for Valentine’s Day from Simon Says Stamp that I have been wanting to use. And since I had just gotten the January 2017 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit, I figured it was the perfect marriage of dies, stamps, and papers. Lookie:
GOJUS! I used one of the Pebbles papers from the card kit as my background and cut the greeting from Simon black card stock.
I added some clear Wink of Stella to the top of the die cut for a subtle shimmer.
I stamped the heart shapes from Really Like You with Versafine Onyx black and heat embossed them with clear EP. I fussy cut those out and mounted them over the rhomboid shape that I cut using the stitched rectangle dies from Simon, just double cutting with the largest rectangle to create the slope on one side. I stamped that with the two border stamps from the set. I added a little washi tape to the spot on the sketch where there are arrows, one from Scotch tape and one a retired SU! tape.
A little baker’s twine and some self-adhesive sequins add just the right finishing touches.
So say it loud and say it proud! This is perfect to give that favorite special someone who you really want to impress with the level of your devotion or just a really good friend (they would have to be to receive one of your handmade cards, right?)

Below is my list of products that I used, and I have used compensated affiliate links where they were available, as I now participate in affiliate programs for Simon Says Stamp, Amazon, Ellen Hutson LLC, Scrapbook.com, Gina K, Sizzix, and Blick Art Supplies. Stampin’ Up! links go to my BFF Wendy Weixler’s store, who does not pay me except in eternal friendship, but you can change to your favorite demonstrator if you prefer. Buying through these links costs you nothing extra and helps support my blog and my artistic endeavors, and I thank you.
